Sun Lakes  is an active adult retirement community located alongside I-10, south of the Phoenix metropolitan area, and approximately 6 miles south of Chandler. Robson Communities started the adult resort community in 1972. It has a thriving country club with many amenities, five golf courses, grocery stores, a fire station, work-out facilities, tennis courts, service clubs, and religious organizations. With I-10 as its Western border, Sun Lakes offers a small town atmosphere with easy access to the city.
